China Reinstates Sovereignty Over Taipei [Security Council]

Breaking News: The People’s Republic of China (PRC) declares that they are the first to have discovered and explored the South China Sea and they should retain their sovereignty specifically in areas within the nine-dash line. China claims that Taipei is an integral part of their history and remains a territory that is under Chinese sovereignty. China states that they are unwilling to compromise with other States because they see their presence as a stabilizing force and promote industry and development. When asked by a representative about the encroachment on the South China Sea during a press conference, Representative Nathan Swenson of China said, “It’s not encroachment if you own the region.”
