Breaking News: GA Second Member Calls for Security Council Action

On the topic of youth and disarmament, Representative Rejoice Mzumara of Niger, stresses the importance of addressing  the impact on women living in areas of conflict. “We actively expect to improve women’s welfare and their lives by coming up with proactive steps to recommend that the Security Council protect women and youth,” Representative Mzumara said.

In addition to youth and disarmament, Niger thinks that the conversation of these two topics should include the effects of disarmaments, not only on the youth, but also on women, which made their resolution FF unique from the other ones.
