Thailand Submits a Press Release in IAEA

The Kingdom of Thailand, in all its reverence and power, is pleased to announce the passing of resolution IAEA/I/1 in the International Atomic Energy Agency. This delegation has been one of the original sponsors and drafting members of this resolution since its foundation while pushing through the immeasurable grief following the death of our late Queen. Resolution IAEA/I/1 ensures safety in the handling and transporting of nuclear materials and prevents theft and misuse of said materials by terrorist organizations. It also puts small nations in the forefront of the fight against international nuclear crime and the enforcement of the resolution’s provisions, while allowing bigger States to retain their sovereignty.
