Press Release from the Holy See Pertaining to the Passage of the Resolution formerly known as AA, now called IAEA/I/1

Representatives, The Holy See, is incredibly happy tonight. It applauds the members of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in their strong first step towards the goal of freeing the people of the world from the threat of mutually assured destruction, yet there is more work to be done. The passage of the resolution formerly known as AA, now called IAEA/I/1, is only the beginning. The passage of draft resolution JJ, when we get to topic two, is vitally important for establishing further funding lines to the IAEA, which vis a vis the comments at this afternoon’s press conference held in joint conjunction with the good Representatives of Belgium, Thailand, Canada and Côte d’Ivoire, it is ill-intentioned to be in opposition to funding the initiatives of the IAEA. Once again, the freedom of humanity is being oppressed by the very existence of nuclear weapons, we must be vigilant to not take frivolous steps, or steps backwards, as they are the true killers of freedom.
