Democratic Republic of the Congo Shares Press Release for GA 2
The Democratic Republic of the Congo aims to strengthen partnerships with middle-income countries in areas such as:
- Sustainable Economic Development: Cooperation for industrialization and improving and increasing trade relations through the compounding of knowledge among partners.
- Food Security and Agricultural Innovation: Cooperating on bio-food technologies and environmentally friendly techniques of soil use to increase food yields and combat hunger.
- Environmental Conservation: To collaborate combat climatic change, the most important of which is deforestation, as well as the conservation of biodiversity deemed very significant in helping dictate “the world ecological cover.”
- Infrastructure Development: Adapting the success stories of the middle-income countries in areas of transport, energy and digital sectors to progress here.
The DRC extends an open invitation to middle-income countries to forge further cooperation based on win-win partnership arrangements to address common threats, build and sustain stability in the region and increase prosperity of the entire world. Through these partnerships, we assist communities within our borders while fostering more inclusive and sustainable development globally.
